They are, after all, only human and adapting to the fact that all the booze and grub is flowing from the kitchen area. The Chinese bench has always played an important role in the Chinese lifestyle. The bench was used as a resting place and also a place to play games, eat a meal or converse with guests. Yu-Chiao Chang designed her representation of the Chinese bench with traditional Chinese flair, yet also wanted to incorporate a design that would fit the modern desires of today's society. Dual does use the traditional tongue in groove style of design, yet it can also be transformed into a chair by simply adjusting the parts of the design.

The garden is one place that seems to be designed for adults only. Contrary to belief, kids like the outdoors too so designer Simon Joyau created an origami inspired chair simply called the «Paper Chair». Made entirely of recyclable plastics, the Paper Chair becomes a little rocker when tipped over - sort of an abstract horesy for your kids to enjoy. It's just a concept but not anything far outside the realm of immediate possibility. I just hope an adult size version is made because I would love to have a few of them.
